Box Office Results-Monsters Rule

Monsters vs Aliens ruled the box office as the kiddie force came out big time. The first big cartoon/animated movie of the year grabbed a whopping 58.2 million, beating Watchmen's take of 55 million. Adjusted totals later today may even put it at 60 million when all is said and done. The movie is sure to stay in the 10 for a few more weeks and not suffer the drop Watchmen did. The other new movies out each had a different take, as The Haunting in Connecticut managed 23 million while 12 Rounds was a dismal 5 million and seventh place. Taken is still taking in the money, in it's ninth week of release! Number 9 this week look for it to fall out finally next week.
